The general theme of the conference is Governments, Markets, and the Future of Capitalism. The keynote speakers will address various specific issues related to this general theme, but submissions in all areas are welcome.

The conference’s main purpose is to foster an exchange of ideas among economists on opposite sides of the Pacific as well as around the world.
