The Econometric Society is an international society for the advancement of economic theory in its relation to statistics and mathematics.

Both onsite and online participation/presentation will be allowed. All the presentations will be available on a virtual platform.

The conference organizers seek both theoretical and empirical research contributions on topics of central importance to currency areas in general, and the euro area in particular. We invite submissions that address the following questions, but submissions are limited to these particular issues....

The Program Committee welcomes papers addressing (but not limited to) the following issues: - Influence of global bank activities on macroeconomic volatility - Role of globally active banks in transmission of shocks - Costs and benefits of regulatory policy, including capital and liquidity...

Papers presented address topics such as the role of capital flow management measures as a policy instrument and their spillovers, the role of banks in international business cycles, exchange rate policy, and international debt deleveraging.

The 2007 joint meeting with the American Economic Association will be held in Chicago, Illinois, January 5-7, 2007, as part of the Allied Social Science Association Meeting. The program will consist primarily of contributed papers.

This will be the first time for an econometric society meeting to be held in Mainland China and will be an important event for promoting economic research in China as well as for meeting with colleagues from Far East and overseas to discuss recent developments in all areas of econometrics and...

The program will consist of contributed and invited papers. Submissions in a wide range of topics in economics are encouraged. At least one co-author must be a member of the Society.
