KDI – Korea Development Institute

The Korea Development Institute (KDI) is Korea’s leading publicly funded, policy-oriented research institution. Since the institute’s founding in 1971, KDI has established a long history of delivering rigorous research and leading the public policy discourse.

To better serve the needs of the Korean economy, the institute has continuously expanded its scope of research to cover a range of social and economic themes including macroeconomic and fiscal policy, finance, social security and welfare, labor, industry, trade, land and infrastructure, market reform, and the North Korean economy.

KDI also delivers critical knowledge and services to the Korean public and the world through its Economic Information and Education Center, Public and Private Infrastructure Investment Management Center (PIMAC), and Center for International Development (CID).

Sogang University

Sogang University was founded in 1960. It has more than 15,000 students and more than 1,000 staff.
