IESA School of management

IESA is a graduate school of management based in Caracas, Venezuela. It is a private, not-for-profit institution serving society at large and is independent of any political, governmental, economic, or religious affiliation. It was founded in 1965 as one of the first graduate schools of business in Latin America, and was one of the first regional schools to address both private and public management. From early on, knowledge generated from research set the school apart from its local competition in both academic and Executive Education programs.

IESA’s mission is "To prepare individuals capable of assuming leadership positions such as professionals, managers, or entrepreneurs, in order to contribute to the success of private, public and non-profit organizations. Thus, the Institute generates processes that constitute a contribution to the development of society. To this end, IESA produces, adapts and disseminates knowledge in the field of management, applicable to the local reality and relevant in the global context."

IESA enjoys excellent recognition in the national market, where the school has been serving for 50 years. It is Venezuela’s only internationally accredited school of management, with accreditations from AACSB, AMBA, EQUIS and NASPAA. It also distinguishes itself from its competitors by its long tradition of being a research school and by its teaching philosophy where the student is the focus of the learning process.
