Elementi razvojne politike malog gospodarstva u Hrvatskoj

Based on carried out research the author exposed the specific elements of development policy of small economy (small trade corporations, collect tradespeople, cooperative movements) in Croatia. It has been expounded a diagnosis of development and state evaluation of this sector and its main characteristics. Based on implemented empirical research it has been stated the qualitative analysis of necessities in small economy, and based on that there have been suggested the policy measures for prevailing basic difficulties and necessities of small economy. Within the context of vision and objectives of development of small economy in Croatia, as well as on the basis of experience in developed market economies, the authors intercede for active role of state in stimulating development of this sector i Croatia. However, they stress that for such a role of state it is essential to be decentralized; to be established on the approach to development "from below", i.e. from the local level; to apply non-selective measures of horizontal industrial policy; and to be established on a national program of support measures for the development of small economy.
