L’utilisation des courbes de valeur stratégique à la fonction ressources humaines pour construire son offre de valeur

The strategic value-curve approach has been widely acclaimed for at least ten years as a major innovation in the strategic field ; it meets a great success in many industries, based on its authors’ –Kim & Mauborgne- promise to make the competition irrelevant. The approach relies on a graphic representation –the value curve- of the company’s current offer of products and services, based on a multiplicity of attributes. Innovation is at the heart of the future company’s value-curve, which needs to strongly differentiate from the existing one through a pertinent and radical change in the value of the different attributes. We feedback an experience that took place in 2010 in a French bank were we designed a new value-curve for the Human Resource’s offer, during a radical transformation of the bank. This feed-back has a double value, managerial and methodological, by underlining the benefits and limits of this transposition of strategic value-curve to the Human Resource’s offer.
